Jesus in You the light of the world

You can’t turn on darkness, you can only turn off light. When light is turned on, darkness has to flee. Jesus is the light of the world and He chooses to live in us, so we need to shine into the darkness. Darkness cannot stop light.

Identify who you are through Christ on the cross and what He has conquered for us. He is no longer on the cross but has been resurrected from death and is now seated at the right hand of Father God making intercession for us. Learn to live in that freedom, that identity.

John 8:1–  Woman caught in adultery (sin) and brought before Jesus to condemn her. He did not!  He told her to go and sin no more.

Have you ever been caught in sin and had others attempt to condemn you? Jesus does not condemn us but tells us to go and sin no more. What is your sin? It is anything that you know God has instructed you to do or not do and you did not obey.

v.12 Jesus is the light of the world. If you follow Him, you won’t have to walk in darkness. He will lead, guide and light your way. V. 15 We judge by human standards, but He does not judge anyone.

v.21 You will search for me but will die in your sin. v.23 You belong to this world; I do not. That is why I said that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am who I claim to be, you will die in your sins.

People are searching for God, but they are not finding Him because we have not lifted Him up on the cross to see Him paying for our sin. v.28 When you have lifted up the Son of Man on the cross, then you will understand that I am He.

We will understand that He took our/my sins to the cross to pay for them with His life. He becomes my Lord, Savior. Take what Jesus did on the cross personally. He paid for MY sins. I needed to be forgiven and born again. So, I have received much grace from Father God, so I have much grace to give. When I recognize that He did this for me, I look at others with a clearer understanding of their need for grace.

Much grace received should lead to much grace given.

v.28 I do nothing on my own but say only what the Father has TAUGHT me. Learn from Him what to say about everything. Allow the Holy Spirit to teach you.

v.29 …For I always do what pleases Him. First learn what pleases Him.

See Jesus lifted up paying for your sins so that you can see the darkness be swallowed up in the light.  Then only say what the Father has taught you and nothing else.
